Editorial Policy

This page explains how NJ News Hub creates content. We are a New Jersey news discovery site: we summarize publicly available headlines and excerpts, then send readers to the original publisher.

Mission

Help residents find local New Jersey coverage quickly, with clear source attribution and without republishing full articles.

Sources

We ingest approved public RSS feeds from New Jersey and regional publishers. Stories that are not New Jersey–related are filtered out and are not published.

How briefings are written

  • Briefings are AI-assisted from the headline and a short public feed excerpt — not from scraped full article text.
  • We aim for original wording: a short summary, key points, and FAQ when they add clarity.
  • We do not invent quotes, names, dates, or outcomes. If a detail is unclear from the excerpt, we keep the briefing conservative and point to the publisher.
  • Every story page links to the original article and labels the briefing as AI-assisted.

What we are not

NJ News Hub is not a substitute for original reporting. For quotes, documents, photos, and the complete account, read the publisher’s story.

Corrections & removals

If a briefing is wrong, outdated, or should be removed, email hello@njnewshub.com with the page URL and the requested change. Publisher takedown requests are handled as quickly as possible.

Advertising

Ads may appear via Google AdSense. Advertising does not change which stories we select or how briefings are written. See our Privacy Policy for details.
